Scattered Sites

Portland Housing Development Corporation (PHDC) recently rehabilitated the “Scattered Sites”, three properties located on the Portland peninsula with a total of 11 units (3- and 4-bedrooms). Built in the 1970s and 1980s, these former public housing properties were renovated to provide updated interior finishes, new appliances, improved insulation, whole-home heat pumps, new continuous fresh-air ventilation system, and updated electrical and plumbing systems. Scattered Sites converted all existing building systems off fossil fuels and are now the first housing units owned by Portland Housing that are 100% electric operated.
