Sign up by Friday January 30thPortland Housing Authority is working with Wayside Food Rescue to provide supplemental food for families & individuals fasting for Ramadan. We will be distributing food February 17th through the 20th. We will notify you when exact distribution dates and times are set for your location. We will try to provide the following items if we can find or order enough:- Pantry items (flour, sugar, cooking oil, rice, peanut butter)
- Snacks for overnight/early morning (protein bars, oatmeal, juice boxes)
- Vegetables (onions, peppers, tomatoes)
- Seasonings (garlic, cilantro, Maggi seasoning)
- Fruits (dates, bananas, lemons, limes, canned fruit)
- Meat and Dairy * (milk, canned tuna or salmon, frozen fish, frozen Halal ground beef) if available.
* We are changing to the way meat and dairy are packaged and distributed to avoid items thawing too soon or leaking.
3 pickup locations:- East Bayside, Kennedy Park Study Center, 51 Mayo Street
- Sagamore Village, Food Share, 21 Popham Street
- Riverton Park, Study Center and Food Share, 53 Riverton Drive
