Be Aware of Covid-19 Vaccine Scams

As COVID-19 vaccine distribution begins, protect yourself from potential scams by being alert and paying attention to signs of a potential scam. 

Signs of a potential scam may include: 

Being asked to pay out of pocket to get the vaccine

Paying to place your name on a vaccine waitlist or to get early access to the vaccine

Advertisement for vaccines through social media, email, phone calls, online ads, or from any unknown sources

Marketers offering to sell or ship doses of the vaccine for a stipend, gift card, or any other form of payment.
