Donations of time, money, and material goods help to keep our community programs going. Volunteers and community members that would like to make donations of money or goods are encouraged to contact us in advance to ensure both parties needs and interests are met.

If you would like to donate your time to support our programs, please visit our volunteer opportunities page for more information.

Monetary donations are greatly appreciated as they allow for us to purchase new items or perishable items as needed to support programming. Charitable giving receipts are available for individuals who make monetary donations to our 501c3 nonprofit corporation. For more information, to make arrangements, or to get a charitable giving receipt, contact the Resident Services Director

Material Goods

Donations of good quality or lightly used items are greatly appreciated by our programs. Common items are listed below but we also occasionally seek donations of larger items such as furniture.

We most commonly need the following items:

  • general office supplies (pens, pencils, staples, and tape)
  • Paper goods (printer paper, lined paper, notebooks, sketch pads, construction paper)
  • Calculators
  • Glue and glue sticks
  • Arts & crafts supplies (tempera paint, brushes, markers, colored pencils, Origami paper, etc)
  • First Aid supplies (band aids, antibiotic ointment, cold compresses)
We currently have enough Crayons and have a regular supplier of donated books. We have an excess of yarn and fabric scraps.
