Partnerships to End Veteran Homelessness

On August 15, 2019, partner agencies from Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont convened at the Northern New England Summit to End Veteran Homelessness with the purpose of sharing best practices and identify ways to better collaborate to end veteran homelessness.  At the event, a Certificate of Appreciation was presented to representatives of PHA in recognition of the agency's contribution to end veteran homelessness and its dedication to improve the lives of our nation's veterans.  

The recognition came from the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), the US Interagency Council on Homlessness, and the partner organizations from the State of Maine. 

"Thanks to a real partnership effort, we are makng progress putting systems in place that will help us end veteran homelessness here in New England," said David Tille, HUD New England Regional Administrator.
