Affordable Rent For Low-Income People
If you are having trouble paying your rent, and would like to live in a community that offers more than just a roof and four walls, the Portland Housing Authority may be able to help.
If you meet our income limits and other qualifications, you can rent an apartment at a fraction of the cost of private housing. At the Portland Housing Authority (PHA), residents never pay more than 30% of their income for rent, even if your income goes down.
At PHA, we provide on-site management and maintenance, adequate parking, and the heat is included in the rent.
